Bill Rightmire was born on February 28, 1937, to Ward and Mary Rightmire in Fort Peck, Montana. After moving around for a few years, they settled in Huntley, MT and he graduated from Huntley Project High School in 1955. Bill met and married his one true love, Lennis, in 1961. In 1963, Bill graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman as a wildlife biologist.
Bill worked for the government in predator control all over the US. He retired in Casper, Wyoming in 1995 after 32 years of federal service.
After retirement, Bill and Lennis returned to Billings to spend the rest of his years around friends and family.
Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lennis; daughter, Kim (Russ) Kembel; son, Ross; grandchildren Hillary (Joey) Russell and their children, Joey, Kaleigh and Lindsey; Ashley Kembel and her daughter, Autumn.
He is also survived by brother, Bob and sister, Jean (John) Harris.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Heights Family Funeral Home with reception to follow.
