Elizabeth “Jane” Polkow went to heaven in the early morning hours of Monday November 13, 2017 surrounded by her children and her loyal husband.
Jane was born September 15, 1961 to Vernon and Sue Green in Waco, TX. She was the last born, and the true baby of the family, joining siblings, Nancy, Douglas, and Garry. Jane grew up and attended school in Tacoma, WA, graduating from Franklin Pierce High School in 1979.
On June 23rd, 1984 Jane married the love of her life, David Polkow. Together, Dave and Jane raised 12 beautiful children. Yes, you read that right, 12 kids!
Jane lived a big and boisterous life. Her greatest joy was raising her large family. She stayed extremely involved in the countless activities that came with raising 12 children. Her family will dearly miss her cooking, love of animals, and her fondness for photography. Her photos are now our most treasured possessions. Music was another passion that eventually turned into a career path, leading to many friendships and fond memories.
Jane was preceded in death by her brother Garry, nephew Jeffrey, and her grandparents.
She is survived by her adoring husband, Dave, and loving children; Lisa (Donnie), Laurie (Mitchel), Lonnie (John), Logan (Brittany), Lucas, Lewis, Landon (Taylor), Levi, Larson, Lexie, Libby, and Landry. As well as her parents, siblings, and eight precious grandchildren.
Jane was the most charismatic, hilarious, and loving person you could ever meet. We will miss her every day until we meet again. We find comfort knowing she is in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and is now our eternal guardian angel. Mom, we “love you so bad.”
A Memorial Service will be held for Jane on Thursday November 16th at 5pm at Heights Family Funeral Home.
