Trevon Dale McCuen, age 25, passed on Sunday, June 3, 2018 after an uphill battle with cancer. He passed away with his family by his side. Trevon was born in Powell, WY on June 25, 1992 to Rebekah and Joseph McCuen. He was fighter from the start as he was two months premature at birth. Trevon and his family lived in Lovell, WY until he was 11. Trevon has always kept roots in Wyoming and loved the Big Horn Mountains. He moved with his family to Billings in 2003.  He graduated from Skyview High School in 2010. During high school, Trevon started working for his dad during the summers and on weekends, doing concrete and excavation work.  He later went on to run the excavation portion of his dad’s company, Dirt Dynamics Excavation. Trevon was a hard worker and later became a crucial part of the company, serving as Vice President. Trevon had passion in his work and loved working with his dad and two younger brothers.

Trevon enjoyed the outdoors.  Whether it be RZR riding, snowmobiling or hunting, he liked it all. Trevon had a contagious smile and he made friends everywhere he went. He had a heart of gold and was the kindest, most caring person you could ever meet. In February 2017, Trevon was diagnosed with Epithelioid Sarcoma. Trevon’s smile and optimistic attitude never diminished as he battled the horrible disease.

Trevon is survived by his parents, Rebekah and Joseph McCuen, his brothers Chandler, Riley and Paxton McCuen, his sisters Avalon and Delaney McCuen, and his grandpa Dale Davenport, all from Billings, Montana, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Viewing will be from 3-8pm Thursday June 7 at Heights Family Funeral Home.  A celebration of his life will be held 1pm Friday June 8 at the Skyview High School Theater.  Interment will follow at Mountview Cemetery.  A reception will follow interment at the Elks Lodge, 934 Lewis Ave., from 5-11pm.
