Our beloved husband, brother, and Uncle passed away in his home in Roundup, Montana on June 17th, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on March 7, 1942 in San Diego, CA to Richard and Arlene Lawrence. He is survived by his wife, Lois “Sage” Lawrence, sisters Nora Dimmick and Dickie Sue Slaughter, niece Andrea Smith, nephews Stoney Dimmick and Lynn Dimmick, all of Roundup; and brother Tom Lawrence of Fredonia, AZ. He had 3 sons, Ricky, Brett, and Randy; 4 daughters, Georgia, Carol, Tyra, and Bobbie Jo; several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, and 1 brother.
Carl served in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1966 in Munitions. He was a working cowboy, truck driver, construction worker, gun smith, and woodworker, as well as his many other talents. He and his wife moved to Roundup in August of 2012 and loved their life here. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Riverstone Hospice for their excellent care in Carl’s final days.
