Kaycie Beth Kipp of Billings passed away peacefully at age 39 surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital after suffering from alcohol addiction.  She was born in Billings on May 11, 1978 to Steve and Joan (Engle) Kipp, and was the second of four girls.

Kaycie graduated from Skyview High School in 1997, and attended cosmetology school before working for Regis Beauty Salon in Rimrock Mall.  She later established her own business at Hair Tips and Toes where her co-workers became an extended family.  Before her death she worked for a short time at Dillard’s Hair Salon.

Kaycie shared an especially close relationship with “Grammie” Engle before her death in 2004.  Kaycie is survived by her parents, her daughter Caylin Kipp of Bozeman, her sisters Danielle (Kenny) Welsh of Happy Valley, Oregon, Holly Kipp (Forrest Scott) of Portland, Oregon, and Erica (Joel) Bronaugh of Billings; three nieces, three nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kaycie was most proud to be mom to her daughter, Caylin.  She will be remembered for her great laugh, her quick wit and humor, her big smile, beautiful brown eyes, and caring spirit.  Some of her favorite things were family gatherings, her work, camping, riding motorcycles, and cooking.

A private burial will take place at Mountview Cemetery.  The Kipp family would like to invite you to a Celebration of LIfe to be held May 26, 2018 at the Zoo Montana Pavilion, 2100 S. Shiloh Rd., Billings.  We will gather at 10:00 am to greet each other, followed by a time of sharing to celebrate Kaycie.  All are invited to remain for a barbecue.

Kaycie’s family would like to extend our gratitude to all of the ICU staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.  Memorials may be made in Kaycie’s name to Mental Health Center HUB, 515 N. 27th St., Billings, MT 59101, attn: Carmen Gonzalez.
