Our beloved Vicki Marie (Marquardt) Holle went Home to our Lord and Savior on December 23rd while surrounded by her family in her home.  Vicki was born December 2nd, 1955 in Plymouth, Wisconsin to Gene and Donna Marquardt.  She was the oldest of four children.  She excelled in high school academics as well as musicals, choir and cheer leading and graduated in the top 10 of her class.  She graduated from Montana State University Billings with a bachelor’s in rehabilitation counseling.  Vicki was a one-of-a-kind CNA and LPN for many years and helped tenderly and expertly care for numerous patients with a deep and genuine empathy.  She also served in the United States Army after she graduated high school.  Her position was Diesel Generator Mechanic.  She met and fell in love with her husband, Stephen, during her service and they were married in Switzerland while stationed in Germany.

Her greatest accomplishment is that of raising her three children who feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have had her as their mother.  She was committed to teaching her children (and everyone she met) of the great love that the Father has for us and educating them at home from start to finish.  In that same vein, she was passionately involved in her local homeschool community, even serving as President of the Yellowstone Coalition of Home Educators for many years where she mentored and greatly encouraged scores of homeschool families in the Billings area.

Vicki adored her family and especially her six grandchildren.  She selflessly served all those around her from sun up to sun down with a smile on her face and a song of praise on her lips.  She could be heard pouring out thanksgiving and honor to the Lord throughout the day no matter what the task at hand.

Vicki is loved and remembered by her husband Stephen; daughter Charlotte (Hailé); son Reese (Erica); daughter Annie (Joshua); parents Eugene and Donna Marquardt; siblings Gail (Bob), Sherry (Tim), and Scott (Denise); grandchildren Nathan, Isabelle, Lydia, Naomi, Asiah and Jhayrhald; and a large extended family of in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

A funeral service will take place Friday, December 27th at 11am at Vineyard Church, 1413 Rosebud Lane, Billings, MT 59101.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to LaVie of Billings, 2321 Broadwater Ave., Billings, MT 59102, 406-652-4868.
