Lucille Sheldon Hill was born July 25, 1939 to Bill Hajek and Judy Hutchison in Seattle, Washington. Her mother Judy later married Ross Sheldon. Lucille grew up in Lewistown, Montana, later graduating from Billings Senior High School with the Class of 1957. Lucille married Leonard Evig in 1959 in Billings, Montana. To this union two sons were born, Ross and Darren Evig. Lucille and Leonard were divorced in 1971, later marrying Gerald Hill in 1972 and becoming actively involved in his masonry business.

Lucille enjoyed her poodles, cooking, having company over, traveling many miles in their motor home and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and collecting Masterpiece porcelain pieces.

Lucille operated her own secretarial business for many years.

Gerald and Lucille, along with their family, spent many active years involved with the Billings Saddle Club.

She enjoyed singing, coaching, and traveling with the Sweet Adeline’s. Barbershop Harmony was among her favorite music.

She was instrumental in helping to form and organize the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame.

Survived by her husband Gerald Hill, her children Ross Evig (Robin), Darren Evig, Gary Hill (Angie), Scott Hill (Diane) of Billings, MT, and Susan Ryman of Victoria, TX.

Grandchildren: Shay, Shyla, Raeli, Kolson, Sadie, Silver, Parker, Mason (Ruth), Daphne, Christine, and Eddie.

Great Grandchildren: Johnathon, Kason, Kambria, and Kristi-Ana and many nieces and nephews.

Sisters: Barbara (Swede) Schock of Helena, MT, Connie (John) Miller of Park City, MT, Carol( Dick) Borgstad of Aullville, MO, and brother Bill (Irene) Sheldon of Bullhead City, AZ.

Preceded in death by her parents and sister Shirley Schock.

Lucille was always willing to help anyone in need and will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
