Raymond Victor Greenfield, 77 passed away surrounded by love from his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren on December 2nd at the Billings Clinic Hospital.
He was born in Hardin Montana on March 31st 1941. He attended the Hardin High School. Ray served in the U.S Navy. He worked for Hale trailer, as a truck driver, helped build the Yellowtail Dam, and was a manager at the Rigg Ford in Kalispell, MT. He loved dogs and people second. We always said he loved his animals more than humans. His last ankle biter was Paris.
He is survived by daughters Paula (Dennis) Duncan and Bobbie (Kevin) Meistad; his special step son David (Todd) Decker and Clint Deckert; grandchildren Tessa (Sergio) Renova, Cole (Lianne) Kirschenmann, Casey (Cindy) Kirschenmann, Taylor Larson, Brooke Passon, Mikala Patton, Jennifer (Justin) Campbell, Arica (Julius) Bleske; great grandchildren Athena, Analicia, Aleksia Renova, Kylee, Keyonna, Camden Kirschenmann,Tayton, Aden Kirschenmann, Skylar, Noalynn Larson, Corey, Juleus, Quentin “Tommie” Passon, Kendell, Katryn, Shylee, Holmes, Keaton Cambell, Hannah, Hadleigh, Haidyn, Liam and a bun in the oven Bleske, Nevaeh and Jaxton Patton; step grandchildren Dexter, Raymond “Desean”, Corrina, Zachary Deckert.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Ines (Miller) Greenfield; brothers Bill, Bob, Charles, and Lyle; sisters Alice, Joan, and Betty; his son Michael “Mike” Dean Greenfield and daughter Lisa Greenfield.
Burial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday December 6, 2018 at the Yellowstone National Cemetery, 55 Buffalo Trail RD, Laurel, Montana 59044 with full honors. Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 pm at the VFW post 6774(in the heights) 637 Anchor Ave, Billings, Montana 59105.
