Gary Edmond Glasgow was born September 20, 1941 to Harold and Nina (Smith) Glasgow. He attended Billings senior High School. He served as a Medical Corpsman in the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1963. Gary passed away peacefully on September 23, 2019 at the age of 78 at Riverstone Hospice House.

Gary and Dorothy (Manry) were married on February 14, 1970. He worked for Anaconda Company in Butte, MT, BNSF in Livingston, MT and in Galesburg, IL, where he retired and returned to Montana. They also enjoyed living in Oregon on the Pacific Coast for 6 years. Gary and Dorothy were married almost 50 years and enjoyed an active life together.

Gary enjoyed many things starting at a young age. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, traveling and fast cars. He was a proud member of Yellowstone Mustang Club and enjoyed the camaraderie, friendships, and owning collectable cars. Gary took great pride in becoming a private pilot and building his own plane as well as owning several others. He was a jack of all trades including carpentry, being a mechanic and could fix almost anything that needed repaired. Gary loved to garden and enjoyed rescuing the dying plants he found on every discount aisle. He was always looking for garage sales and good bargains.

Gary is survived by his wife, Dorothy; their daughter Barbara Keltz (grandchildren Jason and Amy Valdez, and grandson Corwyn); his son Clayton (Tara) Glasgow (Colby, Charlize, Chandler Lane, Colten (Olivia) Lane, Keenen Lane, Kacey (Mikayla) Lane; brother Ray (Mary Lynn) Glasgow; sister Dianne (Kenny) Kaufman; as well as many nephews, nieces, their families, numerous cousins and many friends.

Celebration of Life will be held October 11th, 2 P.M. at Heights Family Funeral Home who is taking care of Gary and his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverstone Health Hospice or Tumbleweed Program here in Billings.
