On Wednesday, April 29, 2020, in Billings MT, Corey Berry, loving husband and father, passed away suddenly at age 48. Corey was born in Billings MT to Charles and Violet Berry.

Corey was an amazing man, loving husband, father and friend! He was a very giving man. If anyone needed anything at all, he was always there to help them and give them anything they needed (even the shirt off his back). He was hardworking and committed to always doing his very best.

He absolutely loved to cook, especially barbecue. His face would light up when he knew someone enjoyed whatever he had cooked them, and we always did! If he knew that you liked something he made, he always made sure that it was on the table next time you came by. One of the things that people loved was his famous jerky. Wherever we went, people asked if he had any Jerky with him. We even nicknamed him the Jerky man!

He also loved the game of darts; the people, the competition and playing with all of the new players. When playing in a blind draw, whoever his partner would be, he would say to them “You here to drink or you here to win!“

He enjoyed fishing! One of his favorite things was just to drive the boat and watch you have a great time!

Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family! When Corey and Michelle would sit and watch TV or a movie, he always said “Hey you know what? This is my favorite thing to do with you!” And he would grab her hand and hold it tight.

Until we meet again. Love you more!!! ♥

Corey is survived by his loving wife and soul mate Michelle Berry; his two children, daughter Jessica (daughter Angelina), son Justin (daughter Olivia); his two step sons Jeffrey Hosa, wife Sarah, (children Evelyn, Elias, Malachi and Ezekiel), and Justin Hosa; mother Violet Berry; sisters Donna Asay (Denis) and Glenda Whinnery (Marvin); and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by so many friends: friends that became family and most of all his family!

A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
