Rose M. Baumann (Rose M. Wittmer) passed away shortly  after midnight on October 29, 2018.  She was a very vibrant 81 year old.  She was born in Streeter, North Dakota to parents Rose (Schmierer) Wittmer and Jacob  Wittmer.

Rose met Kenneth W. Baumann Sr. in Bridger, and they were later married on November 11, 1955.  They were married 60  glorious years until his death in 2016.

She became a grandmother late in life at 65 and she spoiled her grandchildren as a grandmother loves to.

Rose worked at numerous jobs, including the lunch program at School District #2, and as an American Greeting associate at Osco Drug.
She also served as a Girl Scout assistant leader to her daughter Debra’s Girl Scout troop and later served as a Girl Scout leader to a troop of Brownies.

Rose loved doing crafts and going to bazaars.  She also loved to talk on the phone to friends and family for HOURS.  In her spare time, she would play Yahtzee, pinochle, cribbage, and many other games.  She was a great animal lover, and had a place in her heart for her black poodle, Chez La Rose.  Her son Kenneth bought her a companionship animal, a yorkie, whom she named Muffy Rose.

She is preceded in death by her parents Rose and Jacob; brothers Edwin, Arthur, Harold, Raymond, Reinhold, Jacob Jr.; and sisters Pauline (Pete) and Lorraine.

She is survived by her daughter Debra Snow; son Kenneth W. Baumann, Jr.; granddaughters Kendra and Kaycee Baumann;  grandsons Michael Porreca and Christopher Baumann; brother William Wittmer; sisters-in-law Joan Baumann, and Clara, Millie, Maggie, and Loretta Wittmer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rose will be missed by all.
